Dear fellow tasters,
This post is from my mobile photo archives and I found some from a new year’s brunch with my favorite couple friends. The place was Potato Head at Jakarta’s elite shopping mall Pacific Place, subdued and homey semi-outdoor colorful-wooden-windows-accented restaurant by day, cocktail-serving beat-pumping club by night. The brunch menu was mostly Western and our orders that day were: me – two eggs two sides breakfast, hubby friend – the toulouse sausage, wifey friend – the grilled chicken fajita (though we eventually shared this one).
For my breakfast, I chose the eggs to be cooked as omelet, with turkey bacon and veal sausage on the side. It was served with a slice of toast and half roasted tomato and overall tasted pretty nice. I did get to try the toulouse sausage which was a bit salty but quite tasty. We also liked the delicious herby sautéed baby potatoes side. As for the fajita, we pretty much enjoyed it though it appeared to be a bit mushy.
The taster’s notes:
Favorite dish – liked the toulouse sausage and the fajita
What to try next time – curious about the dinner menu and the cocktails
