Dear fellow tasters,
I was supposed to meet a friend for some ‘digital exchange’ at fX, but one thing led to another and after browsing around for some place to have dinner, we ended up at Red Duck, a Chinese restaurant, which at that time offered a 50% credit card discount. That’s quite a bargain!
My friend recommended that we should try the skinned shrimp fried in salted egg and we also ordered half a roast duck and the steamed tofu with dried shrimp and shallot. Both of us definitely loved the delicious salted egg shrimp. Most restaurants would only offer this dish with the the skin still on the shrimps which is quite a hassle to eat but here they were already skinned which created a bolder salted egg flavor. The roast duck was quite nice and the steamed tofu was also pretty enjoyable with a simple yet delectable taste.
