Dear fellow tasters,
Ranch market, one of Indonesia’s up-scale supermarket chains, recently opens its flagship store in Grand Indonesia shopping town and with it comes the ‘ninety-nine’ restaurant that can be spotted just right after entering the east mall from under the skybridge. Located on the lower ground floor within the supermarket, the restaurant offers a green oasis in a nicely-decorated-indoor-alfresco-like dining area, complete with comfy sofas, mini waterfalls, and tall faux trees.
My friends and I went there for a late lunch one day. Their international menu offering was quite extensive, mostly western but also some Indonesian. We were actually not feeling that hungry so we only ordered the croque monsieur and the meat oven stone pizza with some mocktails to drink. The croque monsieur was crunchy and cheesy and we loved the fresh green salad that came with it. The pizza was not really that memorable but I can say that the topping was quite generous. Finishing up, we ordered a slice of fruit roll cake from Bonjour which was delicious, soft, and creamy.
The taster’s notes:
Favorite dish – croque monsieur and the slice cake
What to order next time – didn’t really remember the other menu but definitely will try anything yummy and certainly order more Bonjour cakes
