Krispy Kreme Foodie Blogger Gathering

krispy kreme foodie blogger gathering

Dear fellow tasters,

This was the second time that I got invited to a Krispy Kreme event; the first one was for the VIP party to celebrate the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Cafe opening.  At the party, there were a lot of things going on and when I finally sat down in the cafe, it was very crowded and there wasn’t many chance to try out their doughnuts and baked creations.  So when a second invitation for a separate blogger gathering came in, it was very much welcome and we did end up having a wonderful sugary Krispy Kreme time.

Dear fellow tasters,

Apology for the late post.  This event was from a month ago and I just had the chance to write something about it.  So, I was invited by Sara from yummyfordummy to come to a Krispy Kreme VIP Party as a part of the opening of the world-first Krispy Kreme Doughnut Cafe at Central Park Mall.  I actually got a second invitation from the management for the press conference in the afternoon, but I couldn’t simply ditch work just for some sugar-glazed doughnuts.  The VIP party was held on a Friday evening at the Tribeca park area of the West Jakartan mall.  After a grueling Transjakarta ride, I managed to arrive there just in time for the unveiling of the new doughnut cafe.

Cafe Vienna

Dear fellow tasters,

Still in Gandaria City, after lunch at White Hunter and a bit of window shopping, my friends and I were looking for a place to rest our weary feet and we decided to try a nice-looking European-themed cafe that we had previously seen when we were looking around.  Cafe Vienna, lavishly decorated with marble pillars, golden chandeliers, and classic leather couches which might seems a bit over the top and tacky, offers quite a cozy atmosphere for a Euro lunch or just coffee and afternoon munches.  Continue reading
